Business Card Interactions
After tapping on the link in the message the device's browser opens up and loads the web page for the card. I've already determined the information I'm going to include on the card (photo, name, portfolio URL, phone number, email address, twitter handle, employer and position, and CTA) so now I needed to decide how to organize and layout the information. Since mobile phones are the target device, the orientation would be portrait. Since people read down it makes sense that my photo, name, and employer and job title be on the upper portion of the card. Secondary information like the portfolio link and contact information would sit below. Below that, the "Bookmark This Page" CTA would sit at an easy-access thumb level on the screen. The great thing about this card being digital is that I can leverage the device's features to make my care more useful.
